What is WDJ?    

WDJ stands for William Don Jones.  Don Jones was a Vietnam veteran, and a highly succesful business man, regarded by many as the "best used car man in the Southeast." He was a deacon and sunday school teacher in his church, and he supported numerous charities, most notably, a Kiwanis golf tournament named after him to benefit underprivaleged children in the community raising thousands of dollars over its 20+ year run. To our family, he was a mentor, a leader, a friend, the wisest man I have ever known, a loving husband, father and grandfather.  My wife and I started this company because he always wanted us to open our own business.  We named it WDJ Environmental in honor of him because without him, none of this would have been possible.  His leadership, inspiration, financial support and insistence that I complete my degree in chemical engineering led to a career in water treatment eventually leading us to this point.  We also named it WDJ because our core values are inspired by his tireless support for the community, his family and friends, and his unquestionable integrity and leadership.  He told me that if you are going to take time to do something, then always strive to be the very best you can.  You can't always predict or control the outcome, but you can always give 100% effort, the right way.  He supported my desire to work in water and wastewater.  He would always tell me "there are only a few things people have to have, and one of those is clean water."  We have over a decade of hands on experience in water/Wastewater treatment and a support team with many years of work in the treatment of our most precious resource.   The water we drink, and the lakes and rivers we rely on for recreation and life, are important to everyone.  We strive to provide great support and service to our local water and wastewater treatment plants, because it is the right thing to do.  We provide specialty polymers, organic and inorganic coagulants, consulting and engineering services to municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants.  On February 3, 2014 William Don Jones went to be with his Lord and Savior.  We will miss him, but we aspire to make him proud and honor his name by providing our customers with outstanding service.  His business model was simple, treat your customers like you expect to be treated.  Serve your clients with complete honesty and never sacrifice your integrity.  Hold true to these tenants and you will always be successful.
